Indication of Allen A61 Whooping Cough Drops 

A61 Whooping Cough Drops is indicated for short, convulsive coughs followed by a whooping intake of breath caused by infection with the bacillus bordetella pertussis, inflammation and production of a thick and sticky mucus.

  • Belladonna 3x
  • Drosera Rotundifolia 3x
  • Coccus Cacti 3x
  • Ipecacuanha 3x
  • Antimonium Tartaricum 3x
  • Cuprum Metallicum 3x
  • Corallium Rubrum 6c
  • Magnesium Phosphoricum 3x
  • Bryonia alba 3x in aqua destillata

Dosage of Allen A61 Whooping Cough Drops 

  • Take 50 drops in half-cup of water, 4 times for 4 days. After 4 days, take 30 Drops, 3 times a day.

Mode of Action:

  • Belladonna: Barking cough, awake after midnight, pain in larynx and threatened suffocation.
  • Drosera Rotundifolia: Spasmodic, deep sounding, hoarse, barking cough after midnight. Nocturnal cough. Cough begins as soon as the head touches the pillow at night. Sensation of constriction in chest while coughing.
  • Coccus Cacti: Suffocative cough. Whooping cough attacks end with vomiting of tough mucus.
  • Ipecacuanha: Cough - dry, spasmodic, constricted, asthmatic, incessant and violent, with every breath. Cough with rattling of mucus in bronchi.
  • Antimonium Tartaricum: Cough followed, by vomiting or sleep. Coughing and gasping consecutively. Cough excited by eating, with pain in chest and larynx. Coarse rattling with wet sounding cough, but scanty, difficult expectoration, unable to get it out.
  • Cuprum Metallicum: Whooping cough, long lasting suffocating spasmodic, unable to speak, with breathless blue face.
  • Corallium Rubrum: Dry spasmodic, suffocative, rapid, short and barking cough. Cough with great sensitiveness of air passages, feels cold on deep inspiration. Continuous hysterical cough. Feels suffocated and greatly exhausted after whooping cough.
  • Magnesium Phosphoricum: Dry, tickling cough. Spasmodic cough, with difficulty lying down.
  • Bryonia Alba: Cough - dry, hard, very painful, at night. Sharp, stitching pain in chest.
