Jocoseria is a collection of short poems by Robert Browning, first published in 1883. Effectively a continuation of the Dramatic Idyls series

Handsomely bound in 3/4 red leather with gilt rules along the edges of the leather. Five raised ribs on the spine with gilt lettering and decorations. The boards are marbled. Endpapers are marbled as well. Upper page edges are gilt.

A fine addition for your bookshelf!

Condition: Some rubbing to the edges of the leather with corner tips worn through a bit and a larger piece of leather gone from the back upper corner which is also bumped (see pictures), some surface wear to the marbled boards and perhaps a damp stain to the upper part of the back cover, otherwise in good condition with a solid binding and clean pages. No musty or other odor issues.
