This is a rare antique NY Book Slate Co. Silicate Spelling Leaf Slate. Measures 5 1/8" x  8 3/8", Has wear to spine. Slate is not attached but I'm not sure it ever was. It still has some faint writing. Shipping is free in the US and calculated worldwide.
