A large double-page engraving published in Harper's Weekly dated July 22, 1876 entitled as follows:

"A Fire in Constantinople" 

The text below describes a typical fire in Istanbul which at the time was built almost universally of wooden structures.

 Good condition - minor tears to the edges - see scans. Central fold as published. Related and unrelated text to the reverse. Double page size 16 x 22 inches.
