Q:What do I need to be aware of before I use it to melt metal?
A:Crucible needs to be dried when you first time to use it,the drying temperature keep 150-200℃ for about 30min, then it need take 5-6 minutes to preheat the crucible at 300 ℃ -500 ℃ before you put the metal into the furnace.
Q:Can this furnace melt brass and bronze?
A:Yes. It can.Since brass melting point is about 900-940 and bronze is about 850-1000 degrees C, then yes. It can melt copper, aluminum, gold, silver, brass,bronze,zinc,Tin and other metals with melting point below 1100 ℃/2012℉.
