Description
RBC43 battery - new cells installed - 12month RTB warranty.
This item is an original APC RBC43 battery sled that has been rebuilt with new cells by us. All wiring is checked and replaced as necessary, and all the terminations are crimped tight so they fit securely to the cell terminals.
The battery is ready to install in your UPS on delivery.
The cell pack can be hot swapped (IE changed without turning the UPS off)
1/ Remove the UPS front plastic.
2/ Unscrew the 3x retaining machines screws that hold the original battery tray in the UPS
3/ Slide the old battery out
4/ Install the new battery
5/ Replace the 3x machine screws and the front plastic.
The UPS will start to re-calibrate its runtime estimations on its next self test.
We have a QA process that checks the sub cells and full systems during and after assembly. As can be seen in the photos, once fully checked by the technician processing your order, a warranty sticker is applied to the casing of the battery pack, together with a battery-purchase-date-reminder label for you to affix to your UPS, to clarify when the cell pack was last changed.
Our products are comprehensively tested by UPS experts and are fully working. They are second user, and will have cosmetic signs of previous use.
The grading is A-Grade which we class as as good as you can get without having new. We touch up or re-spray cases as needed. We have been supplying UPS since 2002 and are the respected leader in the field, with the most used stock in Europe. Our experience reduces the occurrence of problems, and the availability of resources and stock we hold means we have the ability to quickly resolve issues when they do arise.
We set our same day dispatch times on eBay as a guide. This is a broad stroke guide, as our items are of varying complexity. While simple orders can be packed and shipped quickly, large units or volume quantities may roll over to being dispatched the next day. You can contact us if you need to be sure of when we can send an order and we can make a plan that suits you.
All of our consignments are sent fully insured on a 24 hour service with our carriers. We cover all problems that occur in transit. We can ship to the EU (transit time varies) and have experience packing and shipping to overseas destinations. The EU shipping costs are estimated and can be subject to surcharge. Large UPS may be palletised or shipped with the UPS in one box, and the cells in another. We have the packing materials to make sure that there are few problems in transit. Our warehouse is based in the UK.
When we process the order, we issue a dispatch notification via email. This will have a PDF invoice attached, and detail which courier we have shipped with, along with the tracking number and any pertinent information & guidance.
