For sale is this older Pair of Antique Brass Swatstica & Butterfly Chamber-stick Candle Holders.

The butterfly’s are removable.

Condition is Used.

Unsure actual age.

All brass

17” height when butterfly’s are attached. One butterfly is missing a small twist on brass ball. These do show wear there not perfect , condition is old with signs of wear.

I was told a story about these that they were used in brothels. How ? A women would attach a butterfly when she had a customer. And that butterfly would shadow on the window to let ppl know she was working. And then she would take the butterfly out when she had no customer.

Don’t hold me to the story it just came from the person who last owned these.
