Tableau have drawn inspiration for our choice of colours from places around their homes in East Sussex.
Colours Available: Cuckmere White, Sovereign Blue, Fairlight Cream, Martello Grey, Rye Green, Hastings Black, Brighton Pink, Pevensey Grey
- Pevensey Grey: The broken flint in the ancient walls of Pevensey Castle ruins gave them inspiration for this passive warm grey colour.
- Sovereign Blue: The Royal Sovereign Light guides shipping through the English Channel. They chose Sovereign Blue as a calming colour on a beach walk.
- Brighton Pink: Candy Floss and sticks of rock on Palace Pier in the bohemian City of Brighton gave them the inspiration for this soft pink hue.
- Cuckmere White: The beautiful Seven Sisters Cliffs can be viewed to the East from the Cuckmere Valley. Cuckmere White echoes the soft chalky face of this natural wonder.
- Rye Green: Rye harbour nature reserve is an area of shingle, salt marsh and sand dunes. They selected the soft green hue of the local sea kale to portray the natural beauty of this remote area..
- Martello Grey: Named after the coastal Martello towers. Martello Grey is an interpretation of the soft weathered hue of the tower walls that have endured many Channel storms since the Napoleonic wars.
- Hastings Black: Tableau took inspiration for their Black from the iconic huts on Hastings beach which have been used by fishermen to hang their nets since the early 19th century.
- Fairlight Cream: Fairlight is a popular spot for fossil hunters. Where the sandstone cliffs meet the sea, the waves churn the water to a creamy froth giving us Fairlight Cream.
