Centering a generously sized approximately SI2 clarity H-J color natural round brilliant diamond, measured at one carat, 6.46mm with an additional .60 points of diamonds, .50 in bright deep blue sapphires, and .50 in true red rubies this is a heavy, 48.5 gram 1940's era bracelet, and it is gorgeous. It measures 1 2/3" wide (north to south) on the wrist and will fit up to a 6 2/3" wrist. It cannot be easily re-sized.
These bracelets are so difficult to find, most have been parted out for melt when gold prices went high. At 49.5 grams of marked "14K" this cuff bracelet is one I nicknamed "fireworks" since it reminds me of 4th of July.
A sentimental piece, centered with a large diamond one carat diamond smack in the center of the cuff. And, what a diamond it is - measuring in at 6.46mm diameter north to south, brilliant cut, with a bright sparkle.
This bracelet holding red, white, and blue gemstones is a great patriotic statement, like fireworks. The brush or Florentine finish gold is elegant and recalls Buccellati designer jewels.
Engraved with the original owners name on the inside of the bracelet, "Mabelle S. Woodward" and stamped "14K".
Excellent condition.
