Oregano Ground

Oregano works well with eggs, cheese, fish, meat and poultry, use it to flavour quiches, savoury tarts, pizzas and pasta. Add to stuffing’s and savoury crumbles, sprinkle onto salads and into salad dressings, oregano enhances the flavour of vegetables including carrots and tomatoes. The leaves can be added to pot pourri and sachets to help deter moths and other flying insects. Dried leaves can be added to herbal sleep pillows and bath sachets.

 

Basil Ground

Basil is a highly aromatic, annual bushy herb native to Southern Asia, now grown in many temperate countries around the world. Most often associated with Italian food and in particular pesto, basil has many other culinary uses, it partners well with tomatoes in all forms, add dried basil to stuffing’s, salad dressings, soups, stews, casseroles, sprinkle on pizza, pasta, omelettes and cheese dishes. Basil can also be used in sweet recipes for biscuits and cakes. In the bath it is refreshing and stimulating, and good for oily skin. The leaves can be added to pot pourri.

 

Rosemary Ground

Rosemary can be used in savoury and sweet recipes, try rosemary and lemon cake or adding some dried rosemary to shortbread with a little grated orange rind. Rosemary compliments chicken, fish and lamb dishes and enhances the flavour of tomato-based soups and sauces; it also makes an excellent herbal vinegar and oil for adding to salad dressings and marinades. Ground rosemary can be added to sachets to help repel insects; it can also be used to make incense cones and added to soaps, and herbal foot powders.

 

Fenugreek Ground

These dried leaves have a slightly bitter and earthy taste that can be compared to celery with a sweet finishing kick. Whip up a Fenugreek syrup for a healthier maple syrup alternative, mix into classic curries or whip up an authentic green Thai curry paste. Sprinkle over root vegetable prior to roasting. It is used in traditional Indian dishes including chicken methi (fenugreek), makhani (butter) chicken and in madras curry. They are also used to make paneer (cottage cheese). Add a light sprinkling leaves when cooking root vegetables such as carrots and sweet potatoes.

 

Mint Ground

Mint has a variety of uses in both sweet and savoury dishes, it is a common flavouring in Middle Eastern and Indian cooking where it is used in salads, teas, chutneys, relishes and sauces. Mint has a distinctive, refreshing flavour that is particularly pleasant in summer drinks, soups and salads. Try adding a little to a shortbread mixture with some chocolate chips for a choc mint flavour. Sprinkle on fruit salads and savoury salads and use to make classic mint sauce.

We use Royal Mail's services for our shipping. Most items that are sent 2nd class services to every other weekday and they'll no longer deliver 2nd Class mail on Saturdays. They will aim to normally get delivered within 3-5 working days, however Royal Mail can sometimes take longer for delivery.

During bad weather conditions, holidays or sale days such as Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Boxing Day, etc, this duration can go up to 10 working days. Please be patient during these circumstances and allow a longer delivery time.

Please allow 10 working days for items posted using Royal Mail's standard services (2nd Class) before contacting us regarding an item not received as the item will still likely be on its way to you. As per Royal Mail, items cannot be considered lost until 10 working days after due delivery date have passed. Contacting us will not speed up the process as once goods have been dispatched it is beyond our control how quickly Royal Mail deliver items.
