A good antique ironstone plate dating from the early 19th century measuring 9.5" diameter and decoratedin the traditional willow pattern..  There is no makers mark present.  The plate is in good antique condition with no chips, cracks or staining.  There is some crazing visible only on the underside commensurate with age.The transfer printing is clear and complete. This is rather 'heavy' and is clearly felt when you run your fingers over the surface.  There are the usual splashes of stray blue encountered on items of this age.  There are 3 clearly visible triple stilt marks to the base and also 3 small spots on the face of the plate where the spurs for the stilts for the plate above have stood.

A nice early transfer printed willow plate.
