TheraTears Lubricant Eye Drops are designed to saturate dry eyes, while diluting down the high salt concentration that can cause dry-eye irritation. So to treat dry eyes, “saturation dosing” is the way to start — use one container for both eyes within a 5 minute period and repeat 4 times a day (i.e. 8 am, 12 noon, 3 pm and 6 pm).
