Gauge holder for your Volvo S70 V70 C70

Fully reversible. It pops in to the place of the original vent grille with a bit of handcraft.

Take out the grille with a carpet remover like this: 

Focus on the top and the bottom of the grille. There are two springs which holds it in place.

Turn the grille around when it’s finally out. Pop of the connector of the vertical parts. 

Take out the vertical parts.

Now the horizontal parts. These come out together. There are two clips on both sides.

You push them in a bit and then try to turn it out gently. It might take a while Be patient! If you break the grille, the modification is not reversible anymore. 

If it looks like this, you are good to go to the next step. Putting the gauge adapter in.

Slide the gauge mount in from the front by turning it 30-45 degrees. Sorry for the shitty pic.

Turn the whole thing around and check if everything is aligned. There are four slides on the corners you have to check and two-two clips on the sides. If everything looks good, push it in gently. It should slide in and pop-pop on both sides.

After you did your wiring. you can put the grille back in the car. 

I highly recommend not to put the gauge in until everything is set up. 

So the proper order is:

Take out the grille

Disassembly it

Assembly with the mount

Do the wiring

Put the grille back watching that the wiring should stay reachable easily

Join the cables of the gauge and the signal giving part

TEST IT!!!

Push the gauge in

You are done!

Originally you get a flat mount with a 10mm adapter in case if you need clearance behind the grille.

If there is need for angles mounts, there will be angled grilles.
