These sapphire crystals are machined in Japan to a very high standard. Hardened with exceptional clarity.
To determine the size you need please remove the outgoing crystal and measure with reliable calipers.

Sapphire crystals are more scratch resistant than mineral - but there is always
the possibility of breakage when fitting which applies equally to sapphire glasses.
