A 1 3/8" wide authentic and original vintage MILK BOTTLE CAP from KALISPELL MONTANA.
This style and size bottle cap went into a round or square pyro glazed milk bottle. This one is a scarce example and all of the LAKESIDE GUERNSEY KALISPELL caps that we've ever seen all came from one find. About twenty years ago we found a handful of these caps on the floor of the loft in the old barn where the Lakeside Guernsey Dairy had once been in operation, on the outskirts of Kalispell. Vintage milk bottle caps are becoming quite popular to collect and the bottle caps from Montana dairies are fairly hard to find since the state was so sparsely populated in the early years. Kalispell sits just north of Flathead Lake, one of the largest crystal clear freshwater lakes in North America so the name on the cap would refer to the geographical location of Kalispell, Lakeside! An attractive and colorful little cap from old Kalispell, check it out!
