These popular kits can be used for anything you can imagine, including, covering hoods with carbon fiber, custom gauge and automotive trim, mirror covers, RC parts, marine applications, etc. All the supplied quantities in these kits are designed to work together.
The twill weave carbon fiber cloth is more pliable than the plain weave and has better drapability while maintaining fabric stability. The weave pattern is characterized by a diagonal rib created by one warp yarn floating over at least two filling yarns.
The Epoxy resin is a high quality UV stabilized and dries with a clear high gloss finish.
The resin has an approximate 25 minute working time at room temperature, and fully cures in 24-48 hours at room temp.
