July 4, 1776 INDEPENDENCE DAY. & Honouring the Bicentennial Visit of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. In Sterling Silver with a Diameter: of 32 mm weighing 14.00 grams. Minted in Philadelphia by The Franklin Mint. It shows on the obverse an artist's impression, based on Trumbull's work, of the actual moment when Hancock put his name to the document. The reverse of the medal features a unique Bicentennial event, two hundred years later, the President of the United States, Gerald Ford, signed the successor to the earlier document.
