This 43-page book has several out-of-the-ordinary recipes, 2-3 recipes per page. Several grey-tone drawings, one drawing at each section title page, quite good and interesting drawings. Most section pages also have red Oriental symbol and a grey Oriental symbol. Pages are heavy stock, a bit difficult to turn on black, plastic comb binding; pages tight, clean and text is easily read due to simplistic type used for recipe text.
Table of Contents page shows 8 section titles along with artist for each section page drawing. Tiny bit of red ink transfer on Contents page near bottom from preceding page's large red Oriental symbol. Contents page has quite light crease length of page at tabs under comb binding. Book measures 6.0x9.0 not including small comb binding.
Deep red covers with bamboo graphic painted by Nadia Boring on front cover (my photo is slightly off in red color tone). The 8 cover tips show only slight wear; there is a 1" long area on front cover bottom edge where it is lightly bump creased. Back cover has very lightly indented line at front edge, probably from storage, book came from large estate stack. Covers are quite sturdy, heavy paper. Book has lightly faded along comb at back and some fade on front cover bottom half of comb area and along front margin, fade is not glaring nor much lightened. Comb binding is good even though it is just a bit tight on heavy pages.
Book appears to have hardly been used.
