LONGWY French Art Deco Enameled Faience Gilt Plate Revival Chevallier 1931

French hand painted enameled and gilt faience plate Renaissance decor made by Maurice Chevallier artist in Longwy during the 1930's. Maurice Chevallier  won an award in Coloniale Fair in Paris in 1931. It's stamped on the back Longwy Chevallier. 10 1/4" (26cm) diameter. Perfect condition as shown by the following pictures.

En 1931, l'atelier de création de Longwy passe sous la direction de Maurice Paul Chevallier, cette même année sa "Boule Jungle" est primée à l'exposition coloniale de Paris.
