Standard Cut Pre-Cut Details

• With our standard cut the window tint film is cut but the clear plastic liner protecting the adhesive is not, leaving excess film that will need to be removed and clear plastic liner that will need to be trimmed prior to installation. The free online video you receive with your purchase will show you how to do this quickly and easily.

Important Installation Details

• Please take a moment to inspect your tint kit before installation. If you notice any creases or damage, contact us right away before applying the film so we can help. Creases are visible prior to installation, and applying the film confirms it was received in good condition.
• Our films are durable and easy to handle when installed as directed. To prevent accidental rips or tears, simply remove the excess film surrounding the precut pattern before you begin. In rare cases, a small section may need light trimming to release from the liner - this is normal and shown in our included instructions. Our cutting systems are highly precise and do not make random cuts through your patterns.
• When separating the film from its liner, always remove the liner from the film, not the other way around. This simple step ensures a clean release without damage. It's quick, easy, and demonstrated in our installation videos.
• Some windows, especially those with a curved (concave) shape, may need to be gently heat-shrunk for a perfect fit. A standard heat gun works best for this - a hair dryer may not get hot enough. Our videos show this process in detail.
• If your side door tint pieces appear slightly larger than the glass, that's by design. The extra material allows the film to be tucked behind weather seals and gaskets, preventing light leaks and ensuring a smooth, factory-quality finish. The exact overlap may vary slightly from vehicle to vehicle.
• Our kits are designed for vehicles equipped with original factory (OEM) glass. If your vehicle has aftermarket or replacement windows, the fit may vary slightly since some non-OEM glass doesn't match factory dimensions exactly.
• Because every piece of automotive glass is a little different, some light trimming may be needed for a perfect fit. Defroster lines, mirror mounts, and brake light placement can vary by model. If your kit includes a rear window or sunstrip, you may choose to remove or trim around accessories like defroster tabs, a third brake light or rearview mirror during installation - both approaches are perfectly normal and commonly used by professional tinters.

Best Practices to Avoid Damaging Your Film

• When handled, installed, and maintained properly, this film will not rip, peel, crease, delaminate, fade, or change color.
• Issues such as rips, creases, bubbles, adhesive problems, or dirt under the film are the result of improper handling or installation technique and are not product defects.
• Always install your film indoors or in a clean, wind-free environment to prevent debris or wrinkles.
• Keep pets, sharp objects, and heat sources away from the film before and during installation.
• Please avoid placing the film on the ground or near vehicles or tools that could cause damage.
• The film is plastic and will melt if exposed to open flames, cigarettes, or excessive heat.
• By beginning installation, you confirm that the film was received in good condition. Any damage that occurs during handling or installation is not a product defect. Our detailed video instructions show proper handling and installation techniques to help ensure great results.

• Precut kits are custom made-to-order items. They usually take 1-3 business days after purchase for processing, production, and packaging. Sometimes this can take an extra day or two depending on the time of year and the volume of orders we are receiving. You will receive a tracking email once it's been produced, packaged, and scheduled for carrier pick up.
