A wonderful Gold Thread -Embroidered Table Top Runner/Centerpiece/Throw

It's truly a One-of-a-Kind "Custom-Embellished" Vintage Piece!

This wonderfully hand-crafted piece was purchased in Dubai in the 1970s and came without the trims or tassels

A few years after it was purchased, my wife specially commissioned an upholsterer to put together

and turn this lovely vintage piece into a custom-created Unique Runner!

A canvas layer for reinforcement, a white Satin Silk Lining,

a Corded trim and 4 matching Tassels were added by the expert

It was also professionally Dry Cleaned

The design is a little hard to describe, so please be sure to look at the pictures for a better idea

A quick look at the textiles would clearly show the amazing craftsmanship

and hand-crafted work that went into creating the piece!

Here, we have a Satin/Silk piece of fabric that is decorated

with Antiqued Gold-Thread with a Flower, Leaf & Bird motif

(there are quite a few threads coming out here and there)

The origin and age of the piece are unknown .. I cannot speak as to how old this piece is

The Centerpiece was used occasionally as an EXOTIC decorative accent to our living room

I would say that the piece is in EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION with no particular flaws to mention
