You are bidding on a vintage pair of limited edition signed prints by William Hillenbrand. Commissioned by Sibcy Cline, each print celebrates a location of historical significance in Cincinnati. William Hillenbrand, a recognized illustrator, is a life long resident of Cincinnati, graduating from the Art Academy. The print of the public landing with steamboats show the artist’s initials which are monogrammed to the lower right and the piece is hand-signed. On the left side it is numbered 314/1000. The print depicting the public landing at the turn of the century, the growth of the Cincinnati area can be traced to the Ohio River, which was frequently jammed with steamboats waiting to be unloaded. 

The print market place shows the artist’s initials which are monogrammed to the lower right and the piece is hand-signed. On the left side it is numbered 305/1000. The print depicting the Court Street Market, it was an important place in the 19th century to purchase staples and gather with friends to exchange news of the day.

Beautiful wood frames, prints under glass and double matted.
