Original June 1952 Holiday Cardboard Advertising Sign
WOW! Here is an Original June 1952 Holiday Cardboard Advertising Sign. This interesting 10 1/2” by 13 1/2” sign would have been in a framed holder somewhere in the store to advertise the release of the magazine. Interesting articles listed are: "Massachusetts", "The Color of Spain" by Ludwig Bemelmans, "Quebec", and "The Story of the Battle of Gettysburg". This, and the others I will be listing, was found in a barn once owned by a family who owned the local country store. This one was for the June 1952 issue. The corners are slightly bumped. The upper left corner has a stain. The colors are bright. It would look great framed. Please see photos for condition. A wonderful addition to your collection.
