A Very rare and hard to find RICOH RICOLET II rangefinder camera produced in 1955.
The Ricolet II is a high quality rangefinder camera, with a special design and fully manual controls.
Specific characteristics of the Ricolet II are an excellent 45 mm f 3.5 lens, a combined rangefinder / viewfinder and a fully mechanical shutter blade with speeds of B 1/10 - 1/200. All shutter speeds work, diaphragm moves well and viewfinder is clear.
The Ricolets were the first rangefinder cameras introduced by Ricoh, and were equipped with a
transport mechanism placed on top, later versions had this at the bottom of the camera. The camera with serial number 13181.This Example in Mint Condition. All Shutter speeds, Aperture and Focus work. Rangefinder is Crisp.Lens Glass Looks good. Some Specks of dust inisde the lens glass. Not fully tested. Sold as is.
