A vintage chinese hand made incense burner / koro.  It appears to be mainly copper but with three brass elephant feet and brass seated buddha figure finial on the tight fitting lid.  The rim has six raised sunburst emblems with faces in their centres with interspersed alternate red and turquoise stones.  There is also raised decoration around the base and hand worked beading around the various rims.  The copper has a black patination as shown in the close up photographs.  Whilst in good vintage condition there is some warping or bending to the thin and somewhat pliable central rim.  It stands approximately 3" tall and is 3.5" diameter.  A well made and good quality item. Age and origin is unknown but likely to be early 20th century.
