You should never pass up the opportunity to upgrade your collection. They're each very limited in their pressings and disappear with extraordinary quickness from the vinyl market. This causes prices to skyrocket because once they are gone, they are gone forever! Don't second-guess yourself with this chance to upgrade your collection because before you know it, the opportunity will have passed forever.

These Limited Editions will be your last opportunity to upgrade your vinyl collection with an Audiophile 180 Gram Heavy Virgin Vinyl Pressing. Once these masterpieces are gone, you will not be able to own this Analog Sonic gem again.

Being a part of the vinyl breed who understands that no matter where CD technology has gone or will go, it will never replace the way vinyl breathes life into every track. Audiophile is all about vinyl being a mainstay of listening experience and owning pieces of musical history that will blow any listener away.

So enjoy being one of the last people in the world to get your butt up and flip a side of vinyl. Itis the purest form of listening pleasure , not to mention the artistic value of owning a cover of art, -- like posters of your favorite artist.

Joe Henderson Page One 45rpm 2 LP SET LOW NUMBERED 119 OF 2500 180 GRAM AUDIOPHILE LIMITED EDITIONS

Here's How it was done FOR THE 12 INCH 45 SPEED VINYL:

Using only the original analog master tapes and cut all of the titles at AcousTech Mastering, which features a pure Class-A disc-cutting system. AcousTech is located at Record Technology, Inc. the plant where the vinyl was pressed. It is a tremendous sonic advantage to have the pressing plant plating department & mastering room in the same facility as Steve & Kevin could cut a lacquer and plated immediately. This prevents the degradation of the grooves in a lacquer which is very fragile to quick deterioration.

And of course cutting at 45 speed is the audiophile choice for the highes quality. A 45-RPM record is sonically superior to a 33 1/3 variety because of a 35 percent reduction of groove curvature compared to a 33 1/3 cut.. It means that while you can't fit as much music into a 45, the undukations of the groove that your cartridge has to track are stretched over a longer distance. For these reissues, the music was displaced onto four sides, meaning each side contains about 10 minutes of music.

This is the ultimate reissues. The only way you'll get closer to this classic music is to listen to the master tapes or have been in the studio with the artist originally during the actual session.

Page One is the debut release by American jazz tenor saxophonist Joe Henderson. It features some of Henderson's most appreciated pieces such as "Recorda Me," later to become a jazz standard, and "Out of the Night," originally written in 1957. This 1963 Blue Note recording finds tenor saxophonist Joe Henderson joined by McCoy Tyner, Kenny Dorham, Butch Warren, and Pete La Roca. Due to his signing with the Impulse! label at the time, McCoy Tyner's name was left off the cover.

AllMusic describes the album as a "particularly strong and historic effort." According to All About Jazz, Page One, which introduced the Jazz standard "Blue Bossa," is still one of Henderson's "most critically acclaimed albums." The album was identified by Scott Yanow in his Allmusic essay "Hard Bop" as one of the 17 Essential Hard Bop Recordings.

Incredible Jazz Records + the original analog master tapes + cut at 45 RPM + mastered by Kevin Gray and Steve Hoffman at AcousTech + pressed on two 180-gram virgin vinyl LPs by RTI = THE ULTIMATE LP REISSUE!

The same formula that made the Fantasy 45 Series perhaps the most successful audiophile reissue collection ever is now being reapplied to Blue Note reissues!

A gifted arranger and composer-as well as an outstanding tenor saxophonist, Joe Henderson has a musicality not heard in saxophonists since the great Charlie Parker. Teamed here with Kenny Dorham, McCoy Tyner, Butch Warren and Pete La Roca this session is absolutely smokin'!

Blow-up Soundtrack with Herbie Hancock & JOE HENDERSON OUT OF PRINT 2002 RELEASE FROM 4 MEN WITH BEARDS AUDIOPHILE LABEL

In late 1966, Herbie Hancock with Freddie Hubbard, Joe Henderson, Ron Carter and Jack DeJohnette entered a New York studio to capture the vibe of "swinging London" in a jazz mode ‹ with grooves that create effective bluesy moods on the slow pieces and funky ones on the up-tempo tracks. Meanwhile in London, the Yardbirds (with Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page) were recording additional material for use in the Blow-Up movie soundtrack. Liner notes by maverick journalist Steve Dollar. BONUS LP Joe Henderson Inner Urge BLUE NOTE RECORDS 4189 ISSUE

One of the major discoveries of the 1960s, Joe Henderson was a sensation in the jazz world from the start. His sound on tenor was very original and immediately recognizable. He could play both inside (hard bop) and outside (free jazz) with ease, often alternating between the two. And he never seemed to create an uninspired chorus. After debuting as a member of Kenny Dorham's group, Henderson was with the Horace Silver Quintet at the time that he recorded Inner Urge in 1964. It is apparent from the start of this quartet date with McCoy Tyner and Elvin Jones that Henderson was a giant very much in their league despite his youth. In addition to contributing a pair of future standards with "Isotope" and "Inner Urge" and his inventive alteration of "Night And Day," Henderson's explorative solos are full of fire, their own logic, and unpredictability. His playing reflects both the turmoil and the passion of the 1960s along with his brilliant musicianship. Inner Urge is endlessly fascinating, one of the most important jazz recordings of the era and a highpoint in the career of Joe Henderson.

BONUS LP - Musicians:
Joe Henderson, tenor sax
McCoy Tyner, piano
Bob Cranshaw, bass
Elvin Jones, drums

1. Inner Urge
2. Isotope
