Details: This is a great old book of childrens' songs, with exquisite full-page illustrations on all the even numbered pages throughout the book.

Especially intended for children five years old and younger, yet some of the songs would be thoroughly enjoyed by older children.

Though the Introduction refers to these songs as a "new kind of religious song for young children" there is nothing of religion in any of them except for one Christmas song that refers simply to Jesus' birthday, and a mention of God in one other song.

The illustrations are worth the price of the book!

Condition: Ex-church library book with the usual stamps and a card pocket, corners are bumped, lightly soiled covers with a few ripples in the cloth on the back cover,  otherwise in good condition with a solid binding and clean pages.
