This BRAND NEW AUX Audio Adapter Kit Mod has been specially designed to provide Maserati owners an inexpensive way to connect a Smart Phone, iPhone, iPod, iTouch, or any other audio device directly to your Maserati's OEM Blaupunkt headunit. Just plug the headphones connector into your device like you would plug in a set of headphones.
You must have a CD Changer for this adapter to work. It plugs into the same port as your CD Changer, but also uses the CD Changer to trick your system.

Ditch that FM Modulator and upgrade with this simple adapter. Made mostly from Blaupunkt parts.

NEED A MASERATI ADAPTER FOR A DIFFERENT AUDIO DEVICE?
If you would this to work with a different type of audio device (other than an iPod/iPhone/iTouch), such as a generic MP3 player, satellite radio (XM, Sirius), laptop computer, certain mobile phones, iPod Shuffle, etc., I can send you this kit with a standard headphones jack instead of an iPod Connector.

WANT TO STILL BE ABLE TO USE YOUR EXTERNAL CD CHANGER?
I can equip your kit with a switch that will allow you to switch back and forth between your audio device and CD Changer. There is a $45 additional charge in order to add the components necessary to make the change.

INSTRUCTIONS:
This kit also includes basic instructions for connecting this kit to your Maserati audio system. I also have some basic information about where previous Maserati owners have installed these systems, but you'll have to e-mail for this information. APPLE IPOD/IPHONE/ITOUCH & MASERATI COMPATIBILITY

MASERATI MODEL COMPATIBILITY:
According to Blaupunkt, aftermarket products do NOT work with OEM receivers. I have found this to be false, but for the Maserati models, it appears to be true. That's why I've designed this special adapter mod that tricks your Maserati's OEM Blaupunkt headunit into thinking it is playing the audio output from the external CD Changer, but it actually plays the audio output from your iPod, iPhone, iTouch, or other audio device.

This item DOES would work properly with the iPhone and iTouch, but the mod is slightly different. You'll need to let me know that you have an iPhone or iTouch. My mod may not work with the other Apple products if I send you the one designed for the iPhone/iTouch. It may play the audio properly from those other Apple devices, but it may not charge them.

IPOD SHUFFLE, AND OTHER DEVICES WITH A HEADPHONE JACK (I.E. MP3 PLAYERS, LAPTOP COMPUTERS, SATELLITE RADIO, ETC.):
If you would like this kit to work with an iPod Shuffle or other audio device with a headphone jack, E-MAIL ME! I will modify your kit appropriately at no extra charge.

This kit plugs into the back of the receiver unit in the same spot as a CD Changer. YOU MUST HAVE A CD CHANGER INSTALLED IN YOUR MASERATI FOR THIS KIT TO WORK. You will have to unplug the CD Changer in order to plug this item in.

One Maserati owner has e-mailed me some basic instructions for how to connect this kit WITHOUT removing the headunit. If you would like that information, please e-mail me. However, you accept all risk and remain fully responsible for any work you perform on your vehicle.
