This is an exclusive design and reproduction of an original RCA Model 77 protective cover.  RCA produced this cover in small runs in the early years of manufacturing primarily for the desktop mounted 77 model microphone.  Please see eBay item number:393485076669  for the STAND style protective cover listing.

RCAmic.com obtained a faded old original bag to create our pattern.  The zipper is sourced from the same manufacturer and identical in weight. We are following RCA's lead on their bags by using a 100% cotton twill tan-gray (umber gray) that they used for their runs of covers for the 77 sized microphones.  The red for the silk-screening was tinted to look optimal on that hue of fabric. The color mix is carefully selected to match the fabric to the RCA "meatball" logo and is screened on two sides of the bag.  See photos of one of our original bags in the early 2000s on an actual RCA 77 microphone.

Fabric color will vary because, like RCA, we obtain fabric from a variety of sources.  If you have purchased before the same exact material shade and weight might not be available.

If you are looking for a quality cover without the RCA logo please contact us, as we occasionally have sewn bags without the screen imprint.
