If you’re planning on charting
your Body Basal Temperature (BBT), you'll need a thermometer. This
thermometer is made especially for tracking your BBT.
BBT (basal body temperature) charting
is a popular way to detect and track ovulation. You may use a BBT chart
to help determine when you are ovulating, so you can time sex for
pregnancy. Or, you may share your BBT charts with your doctor to help
diagnosis potential causes of infertility, like irregular ovulation.
Chart your Basal Body Temperature
& predict ovulation - your most fertile time of the month to conceive a
baby!
Detecting ovulation with basal
body temperature (BBT) charting is relatively easy and inexpensive.
Charting may help to detect when ovulation is happening, or to get a
better idea of your menstrual cycle patterns.
By charting your basal body temperature, you may discover that you've
been missing the ideal time for sex (the three to five days before
ovulation), or you might discover that you're not ovulating regularly.
Over time, you may notice that you tend to ovulate on certain days in
your cycle, helping you plan sexual intercourse that has the best chance
of resulting in pregnancy.
When a woman ovulates, a rise in body temperature takes place in order
to provide a more fertile environment for conception. By monitoring when
this temperature change occurs, you can determine when ovulation takes
place in your cycle. Recording each day's basal body temperature with a
basal thermometer will help you predict ovulation!

What Is a Basal Body
Temperature (BBT) ?
Your basal body temperature is your body’s temperature at rest. To get an
accurate measure, your temperature must be taken in the early morning, before
getting up or moving around. (Sitting up and walking around increases your
body’s temperature slightly.) if possible, while you are still "half asleep".
The best reading of your basal temperature can be taken at the same time every
morning when you first awake.
Charting your basal body temperature is a way to track ovulation. After
ovulation occurs, most women notice a sustained increase in their basal body
temperature.
Basal temperature is the lowest normal body temperature of a person immediately
upon awakening in the morning.
Why Is BBT Charting Helpful?
Charting your basal temperature is
helpful in determining whether and when ovulation occurs. Ovulation is the
release of an egg (ovum) from the ovary and ordinarily happens only ONCE in each
menstrual cycle. Conception can take place only if intercourse takes place at or
near this time, during the interval of transition between low and high
temperatures.
By carefully recording your basal temperature when you first awaken, you will
begin to notice a pattern of temperature fluctuation in your monthly cycle. The
slight increase in basal temperature is an indication of ovulation or fertility
by which you can regulate a pattern on activity to either achieve conception or
avoid pregnancy.
Boost your baby-making chances:
chart your basal body temperature and cervical mucus
Looking for a cheap, low-tech way to
pinpoint your fertile time? Experts
say the best way to detect ovulation is to combine a daily reading of your basal
body temperature (your temperature when you first wake up in the morning) with
monitoring the texture of your cervical mucus. Chart your cycle for a few months
so you can recognise your pattern and have a better chance of predicting your
most fertile days.
How to do it:
Start keeping track of your temperature on the first day of your period using a
basal body thermometer, which shows minute changes in your temperature. A
digital thermometer can also work, although it's not as accurate. Take your
basal body temperature and plot it on a chart. Then check your cervical mucus.
Using your fingers or toilet paper, note its consistency. You may also want to
monitor its texture throughout the day. Most women will see a spike in their
temperature, signalling that they've ovulated, and notice that their mucus looks
and feels like raw egg white at around the same time. When the two coincide,
it's baby-making time. :-)

(10mIU)
TEST STRIPS INCLUDED

PREGNANCY (10mIU) TEST STRIPS INCLUDED

These tests are the MOST sensitive pregnancy test on the market, to aid in the Ultra Early detection of pregnancy. I have used these tests myself and they are really easy to use and have greater detection abilities (over 99.98% accurate) than most store bought tests. Standard tests are normally 20mIU/ml or greater and detect pregnancy 10-12 days after conception.
With an Ultra high sensitivity of 10 mIU/mL (lower is better, 100% more sensitive than 20 mIU tests), these Ultra Early pregnancy tests can detect pregnancy 7 days after conception up to 3 days earlier than standard tests, you can use them well before your missed period. They work by detecting hCG, a hormone released by the fertilized egg that increases as pregnancy progresses.
All tests have a long expiry date.
|
How does the test work?
Our Home pregnancy test is a urine based test. If your egg was fertilized by
your partners sperm, the fertilized egg will travel into the uterus and implant
in the uterine lining. When this occurs, the fertilized egg then starts
secreting the pregnancy hormone called human chorionic gonadotrophin (HCG). HCG
can be found in your urine as early as 6 days past ovulation. Our Very sensitive
home pregnancy tests can detect your pregnancy at 7 and 15 days past ovulation.
Below are diagrams outlining how you perform the test however much more
detailed, easy to understand instruction are included with the kit.
-
Take a urine sample.
-
Immerse the strip into
the urine sample with the arrow end pointing towards the urine for at least
5 seconds. Do not immerse past the MAX (Marker Line). Place test strip on a
non-absorbent surface and time 5 minutes.
-
At 5 minutes read the result.
INTERPRETATION OF
RESULTS
Negative - Not Pregnant: Only one colour band appears in the control
region. No visible band on the test region. This indicates hCG concentration is
not present in urine or too low for detection.
Positive - Pregnant: Two Distinct colour bands appear on the control and
test regions. Presence of both test line and control line indicate that you are
pregnant. The colour intensity of the test bands may vary since different stages
of pregnancy have different concentrations of hCG hormone.
Invalid - Control Line fails to appear. Insufficient specimen
volume or incorrect procedure are the most likely cause. Review
instructions and repeat with a new test strip.
