You are buying an A4 modern print of the original pattern, not the finished item.

This is a gorgeous 40s pattern and allows you to create one style of slipper and one style of mule in lady's sizes 4, 5 and 6 only. Instructions are simple to follow, with ingenious ideas for the soles, from crocheting a chain or plaiting yarn to utilising carpet felting etc. and is also a fabulous project to undertake for yourself or as a gift for relatives or friends, useful also to keep older children occupied (with supervision).  

When purchasing the pattern, you will receive the pattern instructions enlarged to A4 for clarity of reading and the pattern pieces printed out as to scale as sized in the original pattern ready for you to use. A wonderful wartime pattern, economical and fun to do too!

SOLE- Rug wool or thick string, felt, carpet felting, carpet.

UPPERS- Outer material, lining and interlining. Petersham for strengthening.
