New neutral safety switch for Velvet Drive, Borg Warner, ZF, and Hurth marine boat transmissions. This is an OEM switch from Velvet Drive, part number 1000-640-004 (1000640004). Exact replacement for ZF 3312308029. These take an 7/8″ wrench to install. View the below chart for applications.

There is also a larger, older style neutral safety switch used on older Borg Warner transmissions, which uses a 1-1/8″ wrench to install. If you have this one, you may want to consider converting to the new style using the 1004-420-052 kit.
