This beautifully patterned matinee coat, bonnet and bootees set is such a simple design, yet so very pretty and comes in three sizes; that is to fit a chest measurement of 9 1/2, 11 and 12 1/2 inches. All items were originally crocheted in Peter Pan's Baby Quick Courtelle, Darling or Bri-Nylon on appropriate hooks (see below). I believe these wools were D/K, and as this pattern was released about the same time wools were becoming standardised, try a modern D/K, but work your tension square and adjust hook or ply as necessary.

8 h.tr. to 2 ins. (5cm) on 5.00mm hook, 4.50mm courtelle.
