MATERIALS FOR THE SNOWMAN COSY:

4-ply Fingering wool

1 pair of No.10 needles

Medium crochet hook

MEASUREMENTS: 

Depth excluding top - 6ins.

TENSION: Over the rib (unstretched), 12 sts. and 10 rows to 1 inch


MATERIALS TO MAKE THE CHERRY COSY (middle left):

4-ply Fingering wool

1 pair of No.10 needles

No.13 crochet hook

MEASUREMENTS & TENSION: as for the 'Snowman'



MATERIALS FOR THE 'ROSE' COSY (top right):

4-ply Fingering wool; oddments of various coloured wool and a few yards of D/K wool for stem

1 pair No.10 needles

No.11 crochet hook

MATERIALS TO MAKE 'POSY OF FLOWERS' (bottom right):

4-ply Fingering wool

1 pair of No.10 needles

MATERIALS TO MAKE THE 'CRINOLINE LADY' COSY:

4-ply Fingering wool

1 pair each of No.10 & No.12 needles

MEASUREMENTS & TENSION: as for the 'Snowman'


MATERIALS TO MAKE THE HEN & HER NEST:

Hen - 4-ply Fingering wool; 1 pair of no. 10 needles; scraps of red and yellow felt; 2 black beads.

Nest - D/K wool; 1 pair of No.9 needles; a cork table mat 6 ins. in diameter; about 1 1/2 yards of elastic thread
