I adore this vintage pattern as it is straight forward and gives super results for both little boys and girls from newborns. All items are knitted in Baby Wool, 3-ply (see below for individual items measurements and materials) and in this pattern you can have the opportunity to knit a carrying shawl and head shawl, dress, matinee coat, bonnet and bootees making this a very economical and useful pattern!
It is worth noting that vintage 3-ply wool is nearer to modern 4-ply so it is advisable to work a tension square before starting your pattern and to change needles if necessary. (See my shop for vintage needles and get free p&p on needles when you purchase one of my vintage copied patterns).
