I love this crochet pattern and at £3.69 what a bargain, and just perfect for a gift or a treat for yourself as this neat bag ".. Rolls Up No Bigger than a Powder-Puff" and to prove the point the rolled up bag is pictured on the front of the pattern (see photo). It is crocheted from 3-ply knitting cotton and the pattern suggests for an extra strong bag you could try using Macrame Twine No.8 which will give you a slightly larger bag. However if you want the bag in the same proportions as the 3-ply version, the pattern suggests that you work fewer rounds on the base. Although the bags final dimensions are not given, you can get a good idea of the overall bag size from the picture on the pattern in relation to the models hand etc. A useful item in every way and the pattern even tells you how to roll it up into the size of a 'powder-puff'!
