Plantronics VistaPlus DM15 digital adapter utilizes 2nd generation technology and DSP (digital signal processing) to deliver unsurpassed levels of acoustic protection and exceptional sound quality. With SoundGuard DIGITAL, daily personal noise exposure is monitored and automatically controlled to aid compliance with new EU legislation. Constantly on guard, SoundGuard DIGITAL also identifies and eliminates sudden loud sounds, to avoid user discomfort. Plantronics Call Clarity DIGITAL combines a range of techniques to enhances sound quality. It's automatic volume leveler maintains a constant listening volume, regardless of incoming call loudness. Selective frequency-response shaping maximizes speech intelligibility, whilst phone-line noise is also reduced.

The Plantronics VistaPlus DM15 digital adapter uses the latest technology to deliver both acoustic protection in compliance with new EU legislation and exceptional sound quality.

The integrated SoundGuard DIGITAL technology provides two types of protection for intensive headset users. Firstly, it monitors and predicts noise exposure, automatically adjusting volume to ensure that audio levels specified by the new laws are not exceeded. Secondly, it detects sudden loud noises, such as network interference, fax machine tones and instantly reduces them.

The DM15 amplifier also uses Plantronics Call Clarity DIGITAL technology to enhance sound quality - regulating sound levels, regardless of the volume of the incoming call, selecting frequency response to maximize speech intelligibility and reducing phone line noise.
