An 11 3/4" tall  beautiful BLACK GLASS or DEEP OLIVE GREEN colored cylinder-shaped antique BITTERS bottleThis is a very early hand Blown Into Mold bottle (BIM) with a tooled top, dating it well back into the late 1800's.

This truly is a BITTERS bottle, listed in the book "BITTERS BOTTLE" as L-70 and listed as RARE.   This example was found behind a long gone hotel/saloon in a western mining town, actually a pair of them were found next to each other.   It is an early bottle as it was with some Territory drug store bottles, so pre-1889 FOR SURE.   A labeled one explains that it was ... "Sold by all First-Class Wine Merchants, Druggists, and Grocery  Houses ...", good to know.    A nicely colored green bottle, also EMBOSSED in GERMAN on the basecheck it out!
