TO SWITCH RETRIEVE: If you take the spool off using the lever on the center of the reel you will turn it over and see a stainless steel and nylon insert held in by a spring wire. Take a small flat head screwdriver and pop the wire out. Next be careful to take the retrieve insert out the same way it was installed and flip it over. Then return it in the housing. Replace the spring wire and you are done.
