A 3 1/2" tall Old & Original ANTIQUE souvenir MILK GLASS MUG from WHITEFISH MONTANA.  This is an early WHITE MILK GLASS molded mug that dates a good 100 years old or so.  The mug has a gold rim, and the lettering is GOLD, very nice!

• Condition:   Mug is in EXCELLENT CLEAN condition.  The gold rim shows wear, and a trace of wear on the lettering.  Otherwise excellent, NO cracks, chips, dings, damage, etc.

A choice antique souvenir mug from a small American town!  Whitefish is in the heart of the Rocky Mountains and near the entrance of Glacier National Park.  This milk glass souvenir is shaped just like a beer mug, but made with OLD milk glass.  Back in the day, souvenirs such as this were often won at small-town fairs, or sold in small businesses to advertise the town.   What a great name for an old western town as well, W H I T E F I S H !  Whitefish is also home to BIG MOUNTAIN, the famous NW ski resort that overlooks the whole town.  Yet when this mug was in circulation, there was no 'Big Mountain' as Whitefish was just a little Rail Road and logging town that was actually referred to as 'STUMP' town from the newly platted town that sat amidst a forest of tree stumps as it was literally hacked out of a thick forest.  This old mug was there and saw it all, check it out!
