XM1541 MULTITASK DATA FOR PC TO C64  / C128 DISK DRIVES



A brand-new XM1541 Multitask Data Transfer Cable suitable for connecting PCs to Commodore 5.25" floppy disk drives. This cable when used in conjunction with free software available from the internet (not supplied), will allow you to connect a Commodore floppy disk drive such as the 1541, 1571, 1540 and 1570 to your PC via the parallel printer port.  This can be used for transferring floppy disk images to and from the drive for backup and archival purposes.

Our cable works with the following software programs:
  • Star Commander
  • CBM4Linux
  • OpenCBM
  • CBM4Win

This cable can also be used to connect the PC to a Commodore home computer system for data transfer.  Compatible with:

  • Commodore C64
  • Commodore C128

Please note we supply only the cable and cannot provide software support.  There is a huge resource of free disc images, software and documentation regarding the XM1541 connection on the internet.  The XM1541 multitask cable is © by Michael Klein and Nicolas Welte.
