A vintage cookie press with a patent number of 3,262,404 which was patented in July 1966 by James Morz. This design has 4 patterns on each disc with the original set screw which allows you to rotate or dial, each disc pattern since it fits on the exterior and not interior, as most presses. The "feet" are built into each disc. I myself, have never used one like this.
12 patterns are:
1) Club, Diamond, Heart, Spade shapes
2) Star, Bar cookie, Snowflake, Daisy flower shape
3) Camel, Fan design, Dog, Butterfly shape
The barrel is in very good condition & discs are in excellent with mild wear. The barrel of the disc has some abrasion marks and rubs but nothing major.
Handle and stem look good. The round interior piece pushes the dough through the tube with the turn of the top knob. This interesting press was previously used but well taken care of. I show one page from the patent office drawings (this patent number is etched on the lid of the press).
No original instructions or recipes. However there are tons of cookie press recipes, videos for use and baking ideas on line.
These presses not only make "year round" cookies, but crackers as well...some make their own natural and healthy pet treats etc.
