Iron-On Wood Veneer - American White Oak

This is pre-glued real wood veneer. Simply Iron on with a domestic iron set at 'Cotton' or 'Hot'. Absolutely ideal for doors, table-tops, speakers and general DIY projects.

To apply, cut to the appropriate size, leaving a slight overhang on each of the four edges. This is necessary as the veneer will tend to shrink across the width due to the removal of moisture during the ironing on process.

Start at one edge and move the iron slowly up and down the grain several times until the veneer is bonded, and then immediately rub the veneer surface down with a small wooden block to ensure a good bond. Then iron on the next section of the veneer, and so on, until the entire surface is bonded.

For larger projects such as doors and table tops, it's possible to iron on two or more sheets side by side.
