Colombetti is an Italian luxury handbag brand known for its elegant, often Art Deco–inspired designs, and its Lucite (acrylic) purses are among its most collectible pieces. Lucite was a popular synthetic resin in the mid‑20th century, valued for its clarity, durability, and ability to be molded into intricate patterns. Due to their craftsmanship, limited production, and association with Italian luxury, these purses are sought after by vintage and luxury handbag collectors.

This purse has a beautiful tortoiseshell body and clasp.  It has a sliver metal chain link strap with tortoiseshell pieces in between.  You can carry it as a clutch or us the shoulder strap. The lining is brown leather (I believe it is leather but am not 100% sure). This purse has its original sticker on the inside (see photos).

This purse measures about 5 inches tall (not measuring it with the shoulder strap) and is about 9 inches wide. It measures about 

17 1/2 inches from the bottom to the top of the shoulder strap.

There are a few minor condition issues.  There are some scuffs and scratches on the body of the purse.  There is a ding in the Lucite on the closure of the bag (see photos).  Part of the lining on the inside is coming off if pulled at (see photos). When the purse is opened, small pieces of dirt or something comes out from the bottom hinge. I believe that it is from the backing holding the leather inside to the purse (see photos).
