The box used to contains traditional plaster casting supplies, such as quack medicine medical plasters, with original paper labels indicating the specific formulas used. This piece of history from the 19th century time period offers a glimpse into the practices of early medical professionals and the apothecary trade.

Box has some splits and warping. The drawer works exactly as designed.

Paper labels show loss nut still mostly there. Brass circle knob. Knotty pretty wood.
