Vintage Greeting Card


Vintage Rust Craft, Boston, Massachusetts Wedding Shower Greeting Card features See-Through Bell with Clear Plastic Window on front of card and inside the greeting card; the bell is filled with actual rice which is visible both on the front of the greeting card and inside the card.

The card also features delightful illustrations of a happy couple, with wedding cake, &tc..  The message reads:

BEST WISHES

to the Happy Couple!

They'll shower you with lots of rice

(To bring good luck, you'll see!)

And here is just a wee bit more

To shower yourselves for me!

Remember, every grain's a wish

That through life's happy hours

The light of love will always make

The Original Vintage Rust Craft Greeting Card likely dates to the 1940's, and is in Very Good Condition for its Considerable Age, with little wear noted from many years of past storage.  The card has been signed.  Noted for accuracy is some wear and/or discoloration likely due to past storage in a book or album.  In addition, a notation has been made on the back of the card stating which gift was received from the sender of the card.

A sweet vintage greeting card with special effect feature!  Please see accompanying photographs.  The old greeting card would be excellent for use in many arts and crafts projects, such as altered art; altered books; collage; card-making; &tc..  Have fun!  Be creative!
