A pair of original WWII aerial reconnaissance photographs, believed to be RAF images showing attacks on shipping in Norway, dated April 1945.
The photos include handwritten/printed annotation along the borders with coordinates, dates and references such as “Attack on Shipping” and locations including Vadheim and Breivigen (Fede Fjord). These types of images were typically used for military intelligence and mission analysis during the war.
The photographs are in used, vintage condition with some visible creasing, surface wear, and edge tears consistent with age. Please refer to all images for a detailed view of their physical state. The images remain visible along with the annotations despite condition. They had been stored in a sealed hardbacked folder.
An interesting and authentic pair of wartime photographs, ideal for collectors of WWII militaria or historical aviation material.
