A beautiful example of Mid-Century Modern Italian art glass. This "Antiqua" pattern sunflower decanter is a design by the legendary Wayne Husted (former Blenko Design Director) for Stelvia of Empoli, Italy.
Hand-blown in a saturated Avocado Green, it remains complete with its original, oversized solid glass ball stopper.

Great vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or flea bites to the decanter or the original ball stopper. There are some areas of roughness on the lip of the decanter and what looks to be an old fleabite. There is a plastic ring to hold the stopper which shows a little yellowing with age. Glass remains vibrant and clear with no interior mineral haze. Authentic mold seams and minimal shelf wear on the base consistent with age.
