Offered for your consideration is this Antique 18K Yellow Gold Hand Carved Shell Cameo Pin & Pendant with a 1/20 12K Chain.  This Pre 1900 finely hand carved cameo carries exquisite detail and displays the pose of a Contessa with beautiful flowers in her hair. This fine oval carving is framed in an 18K mount & fitted with a pin back and hook lever clasp as well as the hinged / folding  bale for the chain. Measures 1” x 1-1/4” and weighs in at 5.8 grams.

FYI: The number 18K refers to the purity of the gold. 18K gold is 18/24th's or 75% pure.
