Rare ORIGINAL Spook Show-Style Screen Print from the 1987 cult classic kids-vs-monsters flick THE MONSTER SQUAD.  This epic horror-comedy was directed by Fred Dekker (NIGHT OF THE CREEPS) with a script co-written by Shane Black (IRON MAN 3) that coined the phrases "Wolfman's Got Nards" and "Creature Stole My Twinkie!.",  The film's iconic creatures were designed and created by Stan Winston Studios. 

In 2017, Creature Features in Burbank hosted a spectacular MONSTER SQUAD art show, a multi-media group art gallery exhibit showcasing dozens of artists from the fields of film, television, fine art, comics, children's book illustration and more, all paying homage to the film. The event culminated with a cast-and-crew reunion screening at the historic Ace Hotel Theater in Los Angeles, featuring stars Andre Gower, Ryan Lambert, Ashley Bank, Stephen Macht, and makeup effects artists Tom Woodruff Jr. and Alec Gillis, hosted by Eric "Quint" Vespe of Ain't It Cool News.

Renowned FX artist Miles Teves was commissioned to produce the original artwork for this giclée, offered exclusively to attendees of the screening . Teves, one of Hollywood's most well-respected and sought-after conceptual artists, created key designs for films such as ROBOCOP - for which Teves did major design work for the title character - LEGEND, for which Teves designed Meg Mucklebones and Tim Curry's Darkness character, and dozens of others, including EXPLORERS, SPIDER-MAN, TOTAL RECALL, KING KONG, PLANET OF THE APES, and IRON MAN.  The result was this dynamic 16" by 32" retro masterpiece, showcasing the infamous monsters of the film. 

The prints were offered in green and red with this being the more popular green version.  This supreme-quality giclée is signed with Mr. Teves' distinctive autograph and manufactured by Static Medium in Los Angeles using professional, archival quality inks and thick-stock paper, identical to the quality of Mondo. With proper care, it will last a lifetime and is not available through any other authorized vendor.
